Today is the day where we are to go our seperate ways… i was to go to the Giant Buddha, the others are to go to Disneyland and the Grandmothers are to go to visit the relatives… we took the mini-bus from the hotel to the Tsing Yi MTR mall Maritime Square to meet up with our Aunt because she wanted to treat us to brunch at Chao Inn… we ordered the chee cheong fun, fried prawn dumplings (somehow it’s very big with the skin… very crispy…), xiao long bao (so juicy that it just ran everywhere…), mini streamed buns (with custard and lotus paste inside…), chao siew bao, custurb bun, pan fried meat bun (aka. shui jian bao), spring roll, fried chive dumplings, pan fried fish cake (really taste like fish cake but quite good…), beancurd skin roll, steamed three treasure (aka san bao… with crabstick, oyster and chicken…), xo carrot cake (taste a little spicy…), steamed dumplings (with peanuts and some other weird vegetables…), chicken feet, steamed prawn dumpling (there are 3 prawns inside…), siew mai (with crab roe)… overall the dishes were all very fresh and the fillings are very delicious… we ordered too much, thus, as usual, i had to finish… all it was left was three pieces of xo carrot cake and a cha siew bao…

We had took our seperated ways… the Grandmothers had followed my Aunt to visit the relatives once again and i had followed my Mum, Brother and Sister to Disneyland to take their photos… well for memories sake… so i had decided to go to the Giant Buddha tomorrow instead… and so we headed off to Disneyland via the Disneyland Resort Train…

On the journey to but the tickets, there is a fountin and of course with the Disney characters… upon buying the tickets, we are greeted by the service crew in uniform… so when we enter the gates, we first encounter the Hong Kong Disneyland Rail Road which goes round the whole of the Disneyland… but we found out that it was not in service… the buildings on the Main Street are definately very cartoony… we decided to do the important things first once we entered Disneyland, which was to go to the toilet… so at the toilet, we found a coin press machine… the suvenior shops are decorated in its specific theme… the other building that came into view was the Sleeping Beauty Castle…

We first visited TomorrowLand which consists of rides theme of the future and fantasy… we first went onto the Space Mountain roller coaster ride which was the only roller coaster ride in the theme park… the ride was very space decorated but there weren’t much to see as it was all a blur because i had to remove my glasses if not there will fly out on their own and that it’s all little stars of some sort… the ride was rather addictive… haha… didn’t have to wait long for the ride thou… we then went passed the UFO Zone, a wet area where it squirts water, and to the Autopia, advertised for futurised cars… i went on the same car with my Brother and my MUm and Sister went on the next car on the next ride… overall it was quite lame since all we have to do is step on the peddle to play and that was all… not recommended for people who don’t like to wait because the queue was very long and we waited for about more than 30 mins… next to the Autopia ride was the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and the ride was to shoot the squares with the gun… the ride was quite empty so i got on as soon as i got in… scored 98000+ for the first ride…

Next stop on Disney, its Fantasyland, we went to the It’s a Small World water ride that has the most famous song, “It’s a small world” and a winding path to the ride… We went back to watch the Sitch Encounter, thou interactive, it’s a little lame… we had to wait a little while just to get to the small show… rushing back to Fantasyland, we watch the 3D Mickey’s PhilharMagic… took a short break to have lunch,… i was too full, so i didn’t have any… after lunch, it was the Mad Hatter Tea Cups ride with the crazy spinning cups… luckily no one threw up their lunch… haha… Completing most of the rides at FantasyLand, we headed out for AdventureLand…

At AdventureLand… We rushed to take the Jungle River Cruise encircling Tarzan’s Treehouse and its small island… completing the ride, we brisked walked to the Rafts to Tarzan’s House… it’s a rift ride to the treehouse on a very small island…

We seperated at FantasyLand so that we could take the repeat rides again since we had already finish the main rides… my Sister and i went to The Many Adventures of Winne the Pooh while my Mum and Brother went to Space Mountain… my Brother took two consecetive rides on the Space Mountain then headed off to the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters… after we completed The Many Adventures of Winne the Pooh, we ran to Space Mountain and took the ride then join them at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters…

Going late into the evening, we took the Orbitron ride which has lesser people queueing… we waited for the 7.30pm fireworks and then headed back to the hotel for dinner… i had the noodle with beef balls with sauce…
