I watched Season 4, Episode 12 of Ugly Betty & Season 2, Episode 13 of Fringe before i slept at close to 5am… woke up at 7am to prepare to leave the house at 7.15am to meet my Grandmother & Aunt at 8.15am at the Bukit Merah View Hawker Centre… reached the MRT at 7.35am…

I walked from Tiong Bahru MRT toward the Hawker Centre that we usually call Market, since it’s a combination… passed by my Grandmother’s house…

After eating, at about 9+am,… not too sure, i didn’t check the time from here on the whole day… we went back to Grandmother’s house… she is currently staying at my Aunt’s house and only my Uncle and his wife is staying there now… they are not at home today… Aunt is telling me about old times… neighbours sitting on the left bench arguing with my Grandmother and are no longer friends, those sitting on the right are growing older… about how she was scolded by a neighbour in the lift because the neighbour thought she had tripped on my Aunt’s foot but had tripped on the ledge of the lift and that the neighbour got scolded by my Grandfather for calling her a piece of wood, when she was a teen… how my Dad will fix his bike at the lobby of the block and she would ride her bicycle around the blocks…

And anyway, we took the picture while my Grandmother was talking to her neighbours behind us…

Oh, anyways our mission today is to bring my Grandfather’s tablet to the temple near my other Grandmother’s house… the old house has been renovated so my Uncle and his wife’s decision… anyways it’s very old, so its a good choice since they just got married last year… we are bring the tablet since it will be more convenient for all to pray to my Grandfather at the temple then at the house if we need to and also because my Uncle and his wife are Christians…

We placed the fruits, made our prayers and went to take a rest at the living room… and at the same time explore the house after the renovation…

The house is at the 18th floor, so it’s pretty high up…

We left the house at 9.50++am, close to 10am… we were very late since we have to be there by 10am actually… packed the fruits, incense and incense burner and left the house…

The temple

The temple

We reached the temple but we were not late… they did all the rituals and burnt the tablet and left a newly made one in the temple… the new spot for the tablet is B392… also, we found out that the priest in charge of the chanting is my Dad’s old primary school friend since he recognized my Grandmother… spent $80 + ang bao for the chanting and about $1600 or $1800 for the new place…

Next we left for my Aunt’s office in taxi… i think it was about 11+am…

Aunt's desk

She needs help in clearing and reorganizing her desk since they moved her items 2 tables away during her about 2 weeks MC for her slip disc…

They poured some grape juice and i made some tea at one of the three pantries in the office…

We left the office at about 2+pm for lunch at HarbourFront Food Republic… Aunt & i had the Hakka Leicha (擂茶), while Grandmother had rice with some random dishes… went to Daiso after that because we had deemed that her table after reorganizing needs some plants and she wants to add some reflective board to block some sun from her eyes from the window she is facing…

We found some materials at Daiso for the blocking,… we also bought a wire extension for my grandmother….

We went our separate ways since my Grandmother was not up for walking,… my Aunt and i went to challenger to look for a phone connection cable that she needs to extend her bluetooth headset from her huge table phone in the office… but they don’t have the right one for it…

We took a bus to Ikea at Queenstown to look for the plant… then to Anchor Point… but there’s still no plant that is suitable… we reorganized at the Banquet and decided to go to Chinatown…

We took another bus from Anchor Point and left for Chinatown… we alighted at Outram Park MRT and took a short walk into Chinatown since there is a blockade for vehicles…
