The Diary of Amos Lee : Girls, Guts & Glory

The Diary of Amos Lee : Girls, Guts and Glory, second book to The Diary of Amos Lee : I Sit, I Write, I Flush!, is written by Adeline Foo. It’s style of writing is similar to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, which contains diary or journal writings with illustrations accompanying the entry.

I felt that the entries by Amos Lee, a school boy, is very easy to read and together with all the illustration will only make the book more interesting. Definitely a book to read when you have some time and need a casual book for leisure reading. I finished while reading it slowly in 2.5 hours on Friday.

I bought the book at Yishun Popular for $11.10, while the original price is $13.90 and now with a Popular Bestseller 20% off.

The story of  The Diary of Amos Lee : Girls, Guts and Glory, talks about the pregnancy of Amos’s mother, upcoming swimming training & competition, introduction of a girl, named Somaly, into their existing 3As (Amos, Alvin & Anthony) friendship and the weird behavior of WPI (her sister’s nickname) due to her mother’s pregnancy.
